Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us โ one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
HORRIFIC: A video shows an Israeli settler killing a dog in the Palestinian village of Atara in the West Bank, beating the dog to death with sticks.
Barbarians.
@mark_elian_ Which part is indoctrination? These are historical facts that would take you 2 minutes to verify from Herzlโs own writings. Burying your head in the sand regarding one of the devastating issues in the history of the Levant because the PLO is pretty intellectually lazy.
My maternal grandfather died while still hoping to be allowed back to his home in the city of Acre where the rest of his family lived. Many other Palestinians are not allowed to return home; meanwhile, any Jewish person anywhere can have easy access to our ancestral homeland.
@KathrynPaisner I guess all the settlements in the West Bank and the settler terrorism was all done in pursuit of a two state solution.
This weak 2010s hasbara doesnโt work anymore lol.
