@benmagelsen@DamonZumbroegel That’s good to hear, the design language really comes through on all his projects. Even more cudos to him for being able to transmit that language to his production team.
@kohantoys Y entonces? A dónde vamos a parar? Diferentes entidades a quien denunciar? Aquí en usa me imagino que tendré trabajo porque necesitan tener a alguien para tirarle la culpa cuando las cosas salgan mal.
@DamonZumbroegel@antonia_mdprjct I couldn’t agree more with you right now. This is not the same thing and slow progression of adoption. I work in a firm that works in CAD and Revit. The whole industry is about change in ways I can’t imagine. I don’t know how the “drafters “ are going to survive.
The world is changing fast for my profession.
If you are in school leaning revit right now, you will have no job.
Learn how to design.
AI does the rest.
If you work on a computer in the architecture and build profession, you will be replaced. Simple as that. Revit is history. 40 years in the industry, I’m not talking out my ass.
Revit is history.
I started on AutoCAD 1 as a beta tester …..30 something years ago. Ran AutoCAD into Revit in my studios.
My best friend was a head man at AutoCAD for 20 years.
We spoke, he left AutoCAD to start a huge AI company.
Revit is history. No kid should learn Revit! Not one! And both of my kids are in architecture university now. I tried to talk them out of it.
If you are learning revit now….you missed the plot.
State run media, state owned enterprises, prosecuting political opponents, gifts from foreign countries, selling pardons, massive amounts of money flowing into the President’s bank account, and banners with his head plastered on government buildings. NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL.
The medieval idea of skyscrapers
These two towers, Garisenda and Asinelli, are among the surviving medieval towers of Bologna, Italy, a city that once had dozens of them
I’ve always ……….included my kids, in my Life.
The places I go, the rhythms I live, the work I do, the ceremonies I am part of…..I bring my children. Make it normal for the life of the Spirit to be “what we do”, rather than “what we learn” or “what they do”. Normal everyday life INCLUDES Spirit and Prayers, includes work and making meals, includes being a human. Making my whole life normal for my children might just be the most “proud father” role I have played. Bring your kids into the real life, don’t put on a show, live it for real.
