@alt1na1 Jayber Crow and Hannah Coulter are some of the finest works of art this country has ever produced. RIP Wendell Berry

@coldhealing Never thought I’d see a coldhealing-Lauren Cantrell crossover but here we are

@housleyd There’s one a few minutes away from me and the product is good. Feels like a spiritual and fancier successor to Sonic. Packed walk-up and drive-thru windows a few weeks ago. Will be interesting to see if it lasts vs goes the way of froyo

@tolstoybb There’s a hilarious story in the making-of book where on the first day of shooting, Hoytema asks Nolan to explain how the time travel works and he couldn’t. Pure vibes.

@abettertake @alt1na1 Adam Zamoyski’s Napoleon is excellent as a life intro — J. Christopher Herold’s Mind of Napoleon is good as an anthology piece. Rest are too broad (Roberts) or too niche.

@tolstoybb Victoria 3 and Anno 1800

@JustSayO My diehard Marvel friend loved it but every critic I follow hated it—seems like its runtime is the biggest issue

@SonnyBunch I’m not the first one to make this observation but buying a movie ticket is the price I’ll pay to get away from my phone

@TheStalwart I’d listen to an Odd Lots about why GrubHub stinks. Btw most recent episode w/ @jillruthcarlson and @pearkes was great
