Чемпионат Европы по стрелковому спорту перенесли из Эстонии в Испанию, чтобы в нём смогли участвовать спортсмены из России и Беларуси

О переносе чемпионата из Таллинна в Гранаду сообщает издание ERR со ссылкой на Эстонский стрелковый союз. Решение приняла Европейская конфедерация стрелкового спорта, объяснив его тем, что возможность принять участие в турнире должна быть у всех спортсменов, имеющих на это право — Эстония не допускает граждан России и Беларуси к соревнованиям на своей территории.

В январе по этой же причине Эстония лишилась права провести чемпионат Европы по фехтованию — его перенесли во Францию. К участию в этих соревнованиях российских и белорусских спортсменов допустили в нейтральном статусе, впоследствии Международная федерация ассоциаций фехтования (FIE) разрешила россиянам и беларусам выступать с национальной символикой — флагом и гимном.

Ранее Международный союз конькобежцев допустил российских и белорусских спортсменов до соревнований в нейтральном статусе. Кроме того, до международных соревнований с флагом и гимном допустили российских юниоров в парусном спорте и тяжелоатлетов, гимнастов, борцов и пловцов. Вместе с тем международная ассоциация легкоатлетических федераций World Athletics оставила в силе запрет на участие россиян и беларусов в своих турнирах.

Two fuel tankers carrying gasoline from Taganrog to Crimea were hunted down in the Sea of Azov; on land – two S-400 “Triumf” air defense systems, an oil depot burning in Kerch, and a Nebo-U radar.

During the night of July 6, the Birds of the USF successfully struck 47 legitimate military targets in the enemy rear and operational depth.

Among the most sensitive targets hit tonight, besides the blackout in Crimea announced by the occupiers, were as many as six 🌶️ premium scabs.

• Two shadow fleet tankers were delivering fuel from the Taganrog area to Crimea across the Sea of Azov, each carrying 7,000 tons of fuel (the equivalent of 200 rail tank cars).
• An oil depot in Kerch was lit up.
• During the missile attack on Ukraine, two S-400 “Triumf” long-range surface-to-air missile system launchers were hunted down and destroyed – one at a firing position in Bryansk Oblast and one in a hideout in Crimea. These launchers are used to fire ballistic missiles at ground targets. A Nebo-U radar in Crimea was also destroyed.

Over this past week, Russia used around 2,200 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,730 guided aerial bombs, and 106 missiles of various types, nearly half of them ballistic. Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, as well as our border and frontline communities, are under fire almost every day. There was a massive strike on Kyiv that claimed the lives of 31 people and injured another 102, including four children. My condolences to their families and loved ones.

Every day, we must protect lives from these attacks. We already have the capabilities to effectively shoot down more than 90% of drones, but, unfortunately, not all ballistic missiles are intercepted. And it is ballistic missiles that Moscow is now leaning on to continue its war. And every day, we are working to strengthen air defense for Ukraine: through PURL and through our bilateral contacts with countries that have not joined PURL but do have the missiles we so urgently need. We are also strengthening our air defense through joint work with Europeans on anti-ballistic capabilities. We need answers from our partners to our requests for air defense. Every package of interceptor missiles provides real protection for lives. I thank all leaders who are finding ways to help in this particular area.

Every Russian missile launched against Ukraine carries a message far beyond our borders. It seeks to convince the world that violence can replace law, that fear is stronger than solidarity, and that brutality comes without consequence.

Following Russia's second massive missile and drone attack in just a few days, Ukraine is requesting an emergency meeting of the @UN Security Council.

Overnight, Russia killed at least 11 people — and the number may grow. The previous attack on July 2nd claimed at least 31 civilian lives in Kyiv.

We call on the DRC Presidency and the Council’s members to support Ukraine's request. Delayed or weak responses cannot stop the terror. Only strong, principled, and timely action will.

The international community must stand united to deter the aggressor and continue advancing a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in line with the UN Charter.

Last night, Kyiv came under a massive Russian attack. Russia launched 68 missiles and 351 attack drones. Response efforts are still underway. Damage has been recorded at more than 10 locations across the city, including residential buildings. All necessary services are on the ground, doing everything possible to rescue people and provide assistance to everyone who needs it. So far, 64 people have been rescued, including two children. As of now, it has been confirmed that, tragically, eleven people were killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Around 60 more people were injured.

In the Kyiv region, sixteen people were injured and three people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. A fire is still burning at the site of the missile strike in Vyshneve. People are being evacuated from a residential area. More than 400 first responders and police officers have been deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Our warriors performed well today in intercepting drones and cruise missiles, but unfortunately not Russian ballistic missiles. And the reason lies in the insufficient supply of interceptor missiles. It is critically important that the world – first and foremost the United States and our European partners – come out of the NATO Summit in Ankara with strong decisions in support of our air defense, and thus the protection of ordinary people’s lives. As long as Patriot missiles remain in our allies' stockpiles, Russia is only encouraged to keep “vanquishing” residential buildings. The United States and Europe have enough strength to stop this terror.

Last night, Russia once again launched a large-scale combined attack against Ukraine.

Our air defense forces intercepted nearly all cruise missiles and more than 90% of the Shahed drones.

However, ballistic missiles once again struck civilian areas. Unable to achieve its objectives on the battlefield, Russia is increasingly directing ballistic missile attacks at residential buildings, killing innocent civilians.

Russia is deliberately escalating its use of ballistic missiles, launching them at a scale not previously seen while exploiting the critical shortage of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. Worldwide, fewer Patriot interceptor missiles are produced each month than Russia launches against Ukraine over the same period.

Following the President’s discussions with European leaders, I will hold a series of talks today with my counterparts — the defense ministers of countries that have Patriot interceptor missiles in their stockpiles.

We have already signed contracts for Patriot interceptor missiles and continue to secure additional agreements, with deliveries scheduled to begin next year. Our appeal to our partners is straightforward: transfer missiles from your stockpiles now, and replenish them later through our future deliveries.

A simple decision by our partners to temporarily transfer missiles from their stockpiles will save countless Ukrainian lives. We cannot allow bureaucratic caution to become an obstacle to protecting human life.

These missiles belong in Ukraine’s air defense system now — not sitting in stockpiles.

Our priority is to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot interceptor missiles as quickly as possible. The protection of Ukraine’s skies and the lives of our people depend on it.
