You have to be extremely wicked to tell people to be selling akara and roasted corn in 2026, especially when that message is coming from the First Lady.
A Black man scoring the first goal of the 2026 World Cup to silence the African continent’s most hostile nation towards Black foreigners is absolutely poetic. Thank you, Mexico! 🇲🇽
This bandit situation has evolved into a full fledged Fulani xenophobia and very soon we won’t be able to find the thin line btw staying vigilant and wrongfully lynching innocent Fulani individuals.
This is what this government has done
And yet the north has the highest rate of multidimensional poverty, insecurity, unemployment, out of school children in Nigeria. And many more bad things.
“Proper elites” my foot. The north has an abundance of greedy and cruel rich families, not elites.
Man you will never be able to get me to keep quiet about the failures of Buhari. I will scream it from the great walls of benin to the great wall of china. The man was a FAILURE and you cannot rewrite his history.
With the storms now behind me, I can finally let the cat out of the bag. A few years ago, I quietly began an LL.B programme at the Faculty of Law, Baze University. Last Friday, I wrote my final examination, closing a chapter I came close to abandoning twice.
Law stretched me in ways I had not imagined. It sharpened my understanding of power, rights, justice, evidence, governance, property, conflict, and the delicate architecture by which societies hold themselves together. It taught me to listen beyond noise, think beyond instinct, and argue with greater discipline.
I was blessed with an amazing cohort and a remarkable faculty of lecturers whose kindness, patience, and guidance steadied me through difficult seasons. I also owe a special debt of gratitude to my friend, @Meetmodis, whose encouragement first inspired my decision to study law. He went the extra mile to initiate my application for admission into the Faculty of Law, and that singular act became the beginning of this journey.
Above all, this journey belongs as much to my family as it does to me. It is no surprise that I dedicated my final-year project to my wife and children, who bore the quiet cost of my absences, late nights, and divided attention with grace and love.
PS: The Gen Zs dragged me into their signing-out ritual when I attempted to sneak away after the final paper, turning my fine shirt into a souvenir of this academic adventure.
I keep my distance from people who refuse to examine themselves. Accountability isn't optional for real connection. If honesty is something you avoid internally, it won't exist between us either.
This is one of the delusions of being an elite in office, living in a bubble. You think you are so noble, helping the little people by talking to them and joking with them. You believe you should be praised for these acts, for interacting with them as... humans. No shame enters your heart that these little girls are hawking because their families have so few opportunities for survival. No sense of duty makes you lose sleep at night, thinking of how you can help these families. No humility to kneel before them and report to them how you plan to serve them; accepting you are their servant and are supposed to be working for them, not the other way round.
After March 31st, you are owing the government 100k and 50k every month after.
Well, Fuck you, and Fuck the government.
They owe me Electricity, security, Jobs, good roads, standard healthcare, and everything else but you don't see me taxing them for it.
Fuck you again!
Sometime last year...i raised a point in supporting the abolishing of iri-ekpe (taking your brother's properties when he die without having a son) in my umunna (kindred)...It didn't scale through....I had to wait for elections of umunna to come...I contested for chairman and lost with 3 votes....then i was made the vice chairman unopposed....The opportunity to put an end to that taking over of a man's properties because he didn't have a son now lies in my own hand.... February 8th 2026 being umunna meeting... chairman travelled to China for business meetings and handed full authority to me to be proceeding on affairs of the meeting...I did what I have to do....I used just one meeting to put an end to that trash.....The only way you can inherit your brother's properties in my umunna currently is if he died without having a child at all and the wife die after and leaving no one else that's when you can now enter.....
We will keep rising!!!!
Tinubu’s failures do not make Buhari a better president. The same way Buhari’s failures do not make GEJ any better.
We have consistently had poor leadership and these comparisons are annoying.
