Jollibee hack:
Kung magtu-2-pc ka, mag-dalawang 1-pc ka na lang.
May 2 ka nang manok, 2 cups of rice, at 2 drinks. All for 198.
Kesa sa 2-pc (C2) na 199 pero isang rice at isang drink lang.
You’re welcome.
@iamalcestis Yep! More often than not, these rich ppl offer material security thru these spaces to reinforce their own sense of stability and influence (not saying this applies to every1). I just think poverty raises the stakes more of needing certainty :>>
Kung hindi naa-address yung pinaka-basic needs ng tao (poverty), hahanap talaga siya ng magbibigay ng security which is religion, at 'yon pinaka-accessible kumbaga religion becomes the shelter ppl build when material conditions make the world feel unsheltering 🧵

May rumespondeng pulis pero wala ring nagawa. Mga perwisyo kayo sa Pilipinas.

since when did “mga bata” become an insult? if you actually watched the interview, you’d see that she was genuinely happy and proud of the support winri is generating. she called winners “mga bata” because she likely assumes many of us are younger than her.
Evangelion rebuild will always be that one ending bc for once, it didn't look at suffering as "I will no longer be able to survive", but instead as "Okay. It happened. I still want a world. I can still buy groceries with ppl that I love and live this life to the fullest."
@eu_gi_oh I WOULD LOVE ALSO TO READ IT. This is a good read. I think Yōzō’s worldview almost resembles narcissistic despair just as much as misanthropy—not vanity in the simple sense, but an inability to imagine others existing outside relation to his suffering
