Kindly clarify

Scenario 1 -

A customer purchases a product priced at Rs 3000. Pays by upi . The MDR applies as also GST on it . Later the customer returns the product. Will the seller get the MDR amount back ? What happens to the GST of that MDR ?

Scenario 2 - bill value is still Rs 3000. But involves multiple products. Paid by UPI. MDR and GST apply.

Customer returns 1 product valued Rs 1200 after 10 days. Now the transaction value is 1800. What happens to the MDR and GST on it ?

This is one transaction. Extrapolate it to thousands of transactions.

MDR % will soon be the side show. The bigger problem will be the accounting nightmare.
