this part specifically from heeseung’s letter today really hit:

🦌: even when i was temporarily far away from EVERs, at a distance where i couldn’t contact you or reach you, i firmly believed that you would always be there.

🦌: and at the end of trying to do my best with everything i could, there was ultimately EVER waiting for me. i’m truly so grateful.

bc there are no words to fully describe the time period from march-june. literally ALL we relied on for such a long time was fancalls.

he had no socials or any means to reach out to us. the last we wholeheartedly heard from him was through his letter on march 10th. and then, we would get glimpse of him through fancalls. but it didn’t go beyond that intimacy bond he has with us now. he was truly alone and struggling. and through music it helped him cope and move forward as an artist, and help regulate his feelings, heart, and mind.

and that is how we got overflow & ROD, and finally now with his first mini album. i can’t stress enough the han river bc that moment truly showed heeseung that he will never be alone, and how he will very much always have us.
