I started this journey because I realised that lots of us read scripture so formally that we forget these were real people with fear, awkwardness, emotions, bad decisions, struggles in faith, and hope.

God needed her to protect the Isrealite spies and also to participate in the ancestry of Jesus. (She became the great-great grandmother of king David after she married into the tribe of Judah).

He could have created a man for Adam. Someone of his equal but he choose to create someone less of him but equal in a different way (woman).
Marriage advice for Christian men:
Pursue her, listen well, pray with her, repent first, protect trust, and never treat covenant like convenience.
Most important of all, submit to Christ.
