the hidalgos were ambushed and caught completely unprepared. in just one night, juanda lost adler, cassandra, erikson, meredith, and miguel. i’m sure she still resents herself for not being able to save the people she loves, despite being a doctor.

all these years, I've been hoping that cassandra and adler are just out there, hiding and living their lives while witnessing their daughter and son from afar. Having this confirmation from Juanda that they died is just too much for me. They didn't deserve this.
