DOUBLE HOMICIDE CONFIRMED IN NORTHEAST D.C.; TWO JUVENILES DEAD AMID SURGE IN VIOLENCE

WASHINGTON, D.C. — MPD has confirmed that the second juvenile injured in yesterday’s shooting in Northeast D.C. has died, officially turning the case into a double homicide investigation.

The shooting occurred in the 700 block of Kenilworth Ave NE, where two juvenile males were initially found suffering from critical gunshot wound injuries.

🚨 UPDATE: Despite life-saving efforts, the second victim has succumbed to his injuries, joining the first juvenile who was pronounced dead yesterday.
