@Grummz The reason customers hate AI in games is simple. AAA has had a bland, design by committee, inauthentic problem for over a decade. Indie and small team games slap AAA down like pathetic crap. Marathon can't beat >Stardew Valley<. And AI is just AAA avoiding dealing with it

@Grummz I use ai here and there in gamedev but this is such a weird hill to die on / cause to champion. The customer is right. People don't like the idea of inauthentic content for the same reason they hated the sw prequels. Our brains are DESIGNED to look for imperfect uncanny patterns
