@ai_jess_irl@Borys_Deriy@ABDanielleSmith Except it’s not. It’s the same ID thats already digitized. If a cop pulls you over already, they just scan your ID and everything about you is already pulled up on their screen. Having that on your phone isn’t putting yourself into another system, you’re already in the system.
@ai_jess_irl@Borys_Deriy@ABDanielleSmith It’s already digital in a government database. Having that information available in a secure format on your phone isn’t compromising anything.
@MadAboutPaper@mister_hunt@ABDanielleSmith Typically you would. I don’t remember the last time I’ve needed 2 forms of government issued ID. Every time I’ve been asked for two forms of ID, one government issued ID + a credit card in my name have been sufficient.
@MadAboutPaper@mister_hunt@ABDanielleSmith ID card plus a credit card in your name is usually sufficient when two forms of ID are requested. If it needs to be government ID, just bring your passport as well.

@Ptbojack@pizdets17 Except RBC is garbage, all the big banks are. Expensive fees, poor service, terrible apps, poor online security, bad overall products. I don’t think I’ll ever use a legacy bank again, they’re just not needed anymore.
@CepnikMaciej My trick is to go to the busy ones that also have some sort of hand washing station (that they actually use). I rarely get sick from street tacos now, and when I do, it’s probably because I broke that rule.
@js_757 I think you’d need to easily integrate it into existing POS systems and provide them a way to easily do the accounting for it, whether they immediately sell for CAD or decide to hold all or a portion of the received bitcoin. Debit, Credit, Cash, or Bitcoin buttons.
