Men are finally admitting what women have been saying for years.
Sometimes, when a man is desperate to keep you pregnant back-to-back, it isn’t just because he “loves children” or wants a big family.
He understands exactly what pregnancy and closely spaced children can do to a woman’s freedom, time, body and options.
Keep her pregnant. Keep her nursing. Keep her exhausted. Keep her too occupied to even think about herself.
Then when women say marriage and motherhood can limit women in ways they don’t limit men, suddenly we’re “bitter” and “anti-family.”
Interesting to hear a man finally say the quiet part out loud.
If you really hate the alternatives to pads that bad you can always just buy a big pack of hospital grade cotton wool and gauze and be making your own pads yourself.
That's basically how the post partum pads they put in your vagina after birth are made.
What you shouldn't do is keep spreading misinformation and fearmongering about said alternatives asking how teenagers and women who aren't sexually active are supposed to use tampons and cups.
Tampons are barely as wide as a finger, they are not going to "break" your hymen. Teenage girls abroad, especially those who play sports and run track have been using them for years. As for cups, the only reason I wouldn't recommend them for teenagers is bc of the learning curve and clean up. But if a teen is patient enough to learn how to insert it and has access to running water there is nothing wrong with them. Virgins can use them too. I got my first cup at 19.
Please stop fear mongering. There is already enough stigma enough surrounding menstruation. We don't need more around our very limited options too. T for thanks.
instead of saying “every monday” “every tuesday” etc we should say daily but based on the day of the week. mondaily. tuesdaily. wednesdaily. thursdaily. fridaily. saturdaily. sundaily. it feels like this was the whole purpose of their structure as words
One day, your home will be empty, and someone will have to decide what to do with your things. They'll open your drawers. They'll find the watch you treasured so much, the car you spent three years paying off, and the clothes you saved for special occasions because you didn't want to wear them out. And they'll make three piles: what to sell, what to give away, and what to throw away. None of it goes with you. Not a single thing. The only thing that goes with you is that afternoon you stayed talking for hours and didn't even realize where the time went. The look on your mom's face when you showed up to visit her without telling her you were coming. Don't collect things... Collect moments with the people you love
This is love !!!
When you people want to share fond loving memories of your parents and their marriage, this is the kind of of thing we expect
Not “my father locked my mother outside for going to church so she jumped fence”
This is unpopular, but forgetting a used pad in the bathroom doesn’t make you dirty.
It makes you a forgetful person. Sometimes, things will fill your mind, especially if you bathed immediately after changing, and headed out.
Just saying.
Ya Allah, please do not test us through our children. Grant us the wisdom, strength, and patience to correct their wrongdoings, and do not let the love we have for them blind us to the truth or prevent us from guiding them on the right path.
