it's saddening how the feelings of success one would feel after clearing one of the most difficult exams they may ever face, would be dented by feelings of doubt and unworthiness.
in part, i blame the current grading system that NLS has refused to abandon. being judged the same way in university for an exam that you'd spend 9 months preparing for--with over 100 topics covered, is somewhat crazy.
other jurisdictions stick to either a Pass or Fail, with maybe awards for distinctive performances, and also provide results as well.
here, you'd have to pay for a breakdown, and even at that, you develop anxiety over the type of grade you'd pass with. meanwhile, it's an exam inherently designed for you to become a lawyer, and the success of your career doesn't even depend on the grade of the exam.
when people start to feel this way about their performance in an exam that they were extremely successful in, then there's a problem that needs to be solved.
anyway my bro, I understand you like mad.
because i felt this way immediately i saw my results too. and it would definitely get better.

Benching Sesko was the simplest solution. I’m not a coach, but some things are very simple to analyse.
The reason Carrick has done better than Amorim is because Carrick has kept it simple. Nothing like 3 at the back nonsense, no wingback shit, just straight up 4-3-3 with your best guys on the pitch, zero complication.
All of a sudden, he changed what was working. That’s where the rhythm was disrupted.
Sesko coming on the score is a wild card that should have remained as that. We’ve seen Chicharito or OGS do that often…at least till when Man United can stand on their feet and he can play with whatever formation he wants.
That front 3 should be kept till further notice, then Sesko comes in to change the game if need be.
If anyone should be dropped by the way, not Amad. Never Amad.
Up United.
The media departments of churches need serious education and training. Beyond that, they need prayers! Some of your media departments and Christian bloggers need outright deliverance because how can you not know that there are certain things you do not stream?!!!! There are intimate conversations that are meant only for the consumption of the tightly-knitted communities that our churches are, and not for the consumption of the general public. But no, you must be a banger unit about everything. Now, you are subjecting your pastor to ridicule from all sorts of people online. Thank God the man has fortitude and he doesn’t even care.
The church is marching on o.
DAAR COMMUNICATIONS HAS LOST COMMUNICATION WITH PROFIT
The company behind AIT and Raypower FM has not made a single profit in 5 years.
Here is what their 2025 numbers say and what every beginner investor needs to understand.
🧵 What Does Neimeth’s Share Premium Reduction Mean for Investors?
Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc is proposing a share premium reduction, and many investors are asking what it means.
Let’s break it down simply. 👇
1️⃣ First, What is Share Premium?
Share premium is the extra money a company receives when it sells shares above the nominal value.
Example:
If a share has a nominal value of ₦0.50 but is sold at ₦2.00:
₦0.50 → Share Capital
₦1.50 → Share Premium
That ₦1.50 goes into the Share Premium Account.
2️⃣ What Neimeth is Proposing
Neimeth plans to reduce its share premium from:
₦2.377 billion → ₦390 million
The difference of about:
₦1.987 billion
will be transferred to Revenue Reserves.
3️⃣ What Does This Mean?
It means money will move from:
Share Premium → Revenue Reserve
This is an accounting restructuring, not cash leaving the company.
No investor is losing money.
4️⃣ What Will NOT Change
❌ No dividend announced
❌ No share dilution
❌ No bonus issue
❌ No share reconstruction
Your number of shares stays the same.
5️⃣ Why Companies Do This
Companies reduce share premium to:
• Clean up their balance sheet
• Improve retained earnings
• Prepare for future dividends
• Offset accumulated losses
6️⃣ Why Investors Should Care
Revenue reserves are more flexible than share premium.
Money in revenue reserves can be used for:
✔ Dividends
✔ Expansion
✔ Loss absorption
7️⃣ The Bottom Line
Neimeth is not paying shareholders now.
But this move may improve the company’s ability to pay dividends in the future.
Investor takeaway:
Not every corporate action changes your shares.
Some only improve the financial structure of the company.

One interesting thing about defamation law in Nigeria is that it is both a crime and a tort.
What this means is that the victim can lodge a complaint with the police through a petition, urging the force to commence investigation into your matter and also prosecute the victim.
Being a crime, it means the police can be involved. When a wrong is a crime, it means the person can be jailed.
Where it gets interesting is that if a wrong is a tort just as defamation is, this doesn’t involve the police- it is a private matter between the parties. This involves enlisting a lawyer to write to the prospective defendant to take some remedial actions such as taking down the defamatory post, retracting the defamatory statement, issuing an apology and/or paying a certain sum. This is the approach David has taken.
What is further interesting is that these two options are available to the complaint. That the police are prosecuting you for defamation as a crime does not deny him the right to approach the court to get you to pay huge amount as damages.
You can do jail and still go bankrupt if God has departed from you and your adversary is willing and ready to make you feel what hardship means.
Whatever it is you think you feel about Nigeria 🇳🇬 right now, wait till you leave😂😂.
First week abroad, you may not know when you start cursing our leaders if you are not very careful.
In fact, you may start crying.
Your anger will be multiplied for sure.
