i’m ngl i thought this would tease d3 at the end. very bummed it didn’t but i’m still grateful for the experiences and fun i had with d2, and can’t wait to play the new update once im back in the us
The whole idea that Coruscant’s opulence and vibrant life was drained through two decades of Imperial rule establishing brutalist architecture and monotone aesthetics is actually a great idea
i remember seeing someone saying something like "destiny's abilities are a new branch of physics / science being explored whereas marathon is completely abstract and doesn't make sense" and i cannot fathom someone being more wrong in their entire life. it's the complete opposite
I have seen like 10 “SJUR IS ALIVE??” tweets now at this point and.. guys.
Guys.
The big signs were there for eight whole years. That part isn’t a revelation of some sort 😭
Forgive my tears…this one was tough. Thank you to every Warlock + Guardian who kept this legendary game alive for these past wonderful years. It has been an honor and privilege to have taken this journey with you. See you starside… 💙

Destiny as a series is about unflinching hope in the face of impossible odds. To turn guaranteed destruction into fantastical victory through unbridled, unwavering resolve.
In other words, one must hope. No matter the circumstances, one must hold onto hope.
No matter what. Hope.
Destiny 2 was not a failure.
Destiny is—was—by all measures, one of the most resounding successes in its field, and its end is a consequence of its management, not the game itself, nor the team and community that propped it up time and time again, or the vision that fueled it.
Destiny was a pioneer of the live-service formula. It was one of the earliest games of the 2010s to try to deliver constant goods, whether they took the form of missions, new loot rewards, or skins, to a console audience.

Ive done D2 pride banners for the past 2 years and was gonna make some more this year but due to the news I've been focused on some other projects. So i took a page out of NASA's book and made a D2 destination pride flag. Tried to cover most destinations in D2 :)
