Highlights from the 2025 Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk

🎯 In commemoration of World Suicide Prevention Day and as part of Asido @ 6 activities, the Asido Foundation held Suicide Prevention Walks in Ibadan and Lagos on the 6th of September and in Owerri and Maiduguri on the 10th of September, 2025.

🎯 These walks focused on raising awareness, breaking the silence and shame around suicide and mental health issues as well as spreading hope.

🎯 We again reminded everyone that while life may be difficult at times, it is worth living; with the right support and help which the Asido Foundation provides.

🎯 Special appreciation to +1 Global Funds, NYSC Oyo State, NTA, Radio Nigeria, Zenera Consulting, Rotary Club of Owerri Royals, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Maiduguri, and all our partners, volunteers, and supporters who walked with us and amplified the message of suicide prevention.
