VISUALSHOCK! SPEEDSHOCK! SOUNDSHOCK! NOW IS TIME TO THE 68000 HEART ON FIRE!

Who should I set my profile picture to?

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

@MakutaArty I criticize visual novels all the time for how they tend to handle women overall

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

this image has made it really hard to do broad genre critique. maybe it is. maybe a little contempt is good sometimes. like a dash of hot sauce on your chicken

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

I harbor a certain level of contempt for a lot of my favorite game genres because I think they can do so much more. We gotta stop treating contempt and spite like they can never be constructive. Sometimes even "outsider critique" is valuable

@puppycelebrity Entire bloc of people that tried to push Stellar Blade down my throat for months solely because it had fanservice

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

@puppycelebrity Culture warriors are parasites on this hobby

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

@angecritter I'm not fat I have a twink body

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

@KruegerGlove Maybe so. it's just really odd how there seems to be a perpetual desire to make superhero stuff less and less comic-y. Spiderverse was great at it but the live action Marvel movies have really flat direction and boring color grading

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

Superhero TV being relegated to HBO prestige content is really sad. Did nobody learn from the old Batman movies and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man stuff that hero shit tends to work better with camp

[gen z megadriver @_blkcherry_]

@realvisceralist Star Fox
