[Senator Alex Padilla @SenAlexPadilla]

BREAKING: My office received a whistleblower disclosure revealing Trump allegedly ordered the FBI to investigate and arrest protesters in Los Angeles who were criticizing the Administration’s mass deportation agenda. FBI analysts found no evidence these protesters committed a crime or posed a threat.

These allegations are deeply alarming: Using the FBI to target Americans for exercising their First Amendment rights directly undermines our nation’s foundational values.

I won’t rest until we get answers.

(A similar lawsuit filed against Bank of New York Mellon was previously dismissed.)

@BallroomThieves I am so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news. My thoughts are with you and your family, and I wish your brother a speedy, complete recovery.

@BallroomThieves Bagels at Uncommon Grounds, coffee is pretty decent, too. Definitely at least cocktails at Hamlet & Ghost, but food is also great. Off Track Records. Lyrical Ballad for sure. Northshire Books. There is a ghost upstairs at Olde Bryan Inn (plus they have a gorgeous fireplace)

[Bobbie @_bobbieross]

@BallroomThieves See you at a few of these! Yay!

@jamiattenberg I have a Jan 27 deadline, and I have no words for how helpful this would be!

@dangertim Right there with you.

Just made a typo in a (positive) review I left on Etsy and didn’t notice until after I’d posted, can’t seem to edit, and now I will have to live with this for the rest of my life.

@darlingside We will absolutely feel your absence at shows, but always respect these important and challenging decisions artists make. Sending you all love and support.

@dangertim My workshop teacher (who is our age) said even 9/11 fiction is considered historical. So yeah, not sure where the cutoff is exactly, but it is definitely in a place that doesn’t feel great to me.

[Bobbie @_bobbieross]

Today, a person in my workshop mentioned that my novel, set in 1987, should be shopped to agents as historical fiction, and ok, well, I’ll just see myself off to the nursing home now.

[Bobbie @_bobbieross]

@BallroomThieves At least it’s not the weekend when they close the tunnel?? But have so much fun over there! Please don’t realize it is superior to the US and not come back.

[Bobbie @_bobbieross]

@jamiattenberg Hunkered down and wrote a little short story, experimenting with some characters I want to include in a bigger project. Just under 2400 words.
