I’m starting to feel like GLM 5.2 might be better than Opus.
I was spending $300/day on Claude. Switched to GLM, spent $3.82 today, and it found and fixed a Claude bug from yesterday.
I honestly can’t tell which is “better” anymore.
Chinese EV maker Xiaomi has unveiled a Home Charging Robotic Arm. It will launch in Q4 2026 in China.
The robot will be capable of automatically plugging into and unplugging from a parked EV, and could also support remote charging.
WELL... I WROTE A BOOK 🥹📚
over the past year, between client work, travel, film projects, and life as a mother, I somehow ended up writing a book: Midjourney – Das umfassende Handbuch (and yes, it's in German 🇩🇪)
what started as a relatively simple idea quickly turned into several hundred pages covering prompting, visual design, style development, AI workflows, and everything I've learned about generative image AI over the past few years.
while writing it, the technology evolved at what felt like a weekly pace, which meant constantly updating, rewriting, and expanding chapters... often… very often. 😅
We built the Codex App with models that were okayish at front-end.
Wait to see what we can do when we finally improve front-end capabilities significantly in our models. That day will be something.
good luck paying $20k only to find out you can generate 20 tok/s. even running 24/7, that's just 50m tokens/month. for glm, at $4.40/m, this is $228 in value. any $200 sub gives you significantly more. and this math means the break-even is 7.3 years not 6 moths. by that time the hardware would die if it's running 24/7.
All day using GLM 5.2. Didn't miss much. First open model that passes the bar as a daily driver. Things are not going to be the same.
Damn, now I want to buy some serious hardware.
🚨 BREAKING: Anthropic is "confident that in the coming days [Fable 5] will become available again" - Anthropic's International Managing Director

Midjourney made the first new medical imaging system in over 50 years!?
Full body ultrasound. USCF
You get dunked in a full body tube of water and blasted with sound waves for 60 seconds
They are building a Midjourney spa in SF, with saunas and hot tubs, hoping to open by end of 2027
They also hinted that future versions may be more than just a scanning device, as ultrasound is already used for many therapies
Incredible medical potential. Wow.
New in Claude Design: it stays on brand with your design system across projects, lets you edit directly on the canvas, syncs with Claude Code, and connects to more of the tools you already use.
We're launching code storage and git hosting.
Origin gives teams and agents a place to host, review, and collaborate on code.
Available this fall. Join the waitlist.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei were among tech bosses at a G7 working lunch on AI, as the US decision to restrict access to Anthropic's most advanced models causes tension among allies https://t.co/IfdWD2xPs3
