Been thinking a lot about DCRs relationship with music and it’s artists a lot these past few weeks and the last couple of days have only magnified my thoughts.
Dedicated more than ever to provide equal opportunities to everyone and promote equality through this genre.
This is a friendly call to my fellow producers who are fortunate enough to make money off their music, ESPECIALLY music rooted in black culture (lofi hip hop!!), to donate to your preferred org who advocates for the lives of black people. I'll leave a couple suggestions! ⬇️

I’d much rather have someone start a conversation with “hey, how are you doing” than “hey, I’d like to submit to your label”. Not sure why but I think I like having some sort of idea of who that person is before I get a submission or an inquiry.
A single DCR song just hit 10,000,000 streams. Just wow. I don’t even know where to start. These numbers feel a little unreal sometimes. For me at least it can be hard to contextualize that big of a thing.
In particular I’d like to thank @talesofthomas and @cap_kendricks for releasing “Stay and Wander” with DCR (the track that hit 10 million streams)
On the first listen of that track I knew it would be a classic, 10 million streams or not.

Anyways, super grateful for everyone whose been on this journey with me so far. Especially those who took a chance on releasing with DCR last year or the year before when we were a lot smaller.
That type of trust in us is something I don’t take for granted.
@OnlyMagnetic 100%. I hope it’s obvious that I don’t want anyone to be exploited especially those already marginalized in society, I just see it becoming a reality when certain groups enter.
