GM team, let's start with geopolitics, because things have heated up in Spain. In just one day, thousands of migrants stormed into Ceuta, the Spanish enclave in North Africa on the border with Morocco, and the centers were already overcrowded after 1500 people from last week.
A state that can't defend its own border stops being a state.
It's sad to watch Western Europe dismantling itself—once powers, now countries afraid to call a crisis a crisis. And that's why we, Poles, have to guard this like the apple of our eye, because once you let chaos in,

The Warsh conference is behind us.
I've gathered everything that really matters for the markets 👇
1️⃣ This isn't a pause in tightening.
Warsh himself warned not to call this decision a pause, because the market will quickly get burned by that.
3️⃣ The 2% target is non-negotiable.
Warsh wipes out the notion that's built up over five years of high inflation that the Fed is quietly settling for a higher level. No soft version of the target, no room for interpretation. He noted honestly, though, that this won't get fixed in

For us, that means:
short-term relief, since there's no hike.
But three votes for tightening and the "we will deliver" declaration make it clear that the topic is coming back
