I tell her to go to Sean’s house. Her eyes get wide as saucers: “He came HERE?!” I tell her to find a job. I call her every lying, nasty, 304 [ho] I can think of. Anyra cries. Real tears. “You took a stranger’s word? You didn’t think to ASK me?” She opens her purse and pulls out stacks of police reports about her former coworker Sean. He was a stalker. He’s been in prison for stalking another woman. She thought he was long gone and she never told me about him. “I go to therapy on Thursdays…he’s why.” They never had a relationship.
