@MaddySpall Dialogue I overheard yesterday between two men in their 50s going in for a crisp hug —
“Okay, okay, come here Paul. Give me a hug.
No, no, not one of them fake hugs, give me a real one.
A real hug Paul, a REAL one.”
#arrestFauci is trending, but really sticking his head in a mesh bag full of sandflies and cutting out his vocal cords to stop him from screaming so others could work in peace while the flies eat away at his flesh would be more of a reciprocative punishment.
In just over a month, I’ll be playing my first show at a sweet garden party. ☺️🌸 Wishing my 13 year old self could see us now. She held in this dream for the 12 years to come, but I’m feeling so deeply grateful she found the courage to root again.
@ellaohel Or to work there — and plenty of people will be losing their jobs over it. Choosing between their livelihood or body autonomy.
Why would we defend the vaccine passport if the vaccine doesn’t provide immunity?
@ellaohel I fully respect those who made the decision to get vaccinated. They’re doing what feels right to them.
Those who choose to wait, or not to at all, are doing what feels right for them.
It’s a human right to choose — but vaccination passports are making the choice for them.
@ellaohel If the vaccination stopped covid, it would be a different story. I’d consider it because it could mean I’m not risking someone else’s life. But it doesn’t — and I’m willing to risk my own health from a natural cause, vs an unnatural one (a vaccination with no long term studies).
