A boost for Baltimore during draft week: Ravens DT Nnamdi Madubuike, who suffered a season-ending and career-threatening neck injury in Week 2 last season, underwent neck surgery last week that left his doctors believing he willl be able to resume playing this season, per sources.

Adam Schefter on Maxx Crosby's failed Ravens physical:
"My understanding is that there were multiple doctors that reviewed his MRI scans. There were doctors that examined him, including Dr. Daniel Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys doctor that performed surgery on Patrick Mahomes and Malik Nabers ... many teams & players rely on Dr. Cooper's expertise. And Dr. Cooper was one of the doctors that reviewed the images where the Ravens then felt compelled to back out of this trade."
Have to wonder if this connects the dots on why Dallas may have left the Crosby sweepstakes...
Trying to get more clarity on Dr. Daniel Cooper’s role here and when.
Cooper is the Cowboys team doctor and is a premiere knee specialist.
As stated by Shan below, Schefter in the clip
says “Cooper was one of the doctors who reviewed the images and the Ravens then felt compelled to back out of this trade”.
He has taken on quite a number of tricky knee cases.

They, too, knew the knee would take some time and were aggressive to the end just didn’t want to give up 2 1’s.
I get Rashan Gary’s familiarity with scheme, line and coach but the immediate no and Dr. Cooper nugget is very interesting to me
Eric DeCosta will draft a Rookie with a torn Achilles/ACL every year
But has Buyer's Remorse over Maxx Crosby's recovering knee
Hilarious GM #RavensFlock
Steve Biscotti was correct to fire John Harbaugh but ultimately his greatest mistake was probably not removing the GM with him.
Raven's fans hate the messenger but Jason La Canfora was always correct that DeCosta is a hack.
I’m officially out on EDC, gave him the benefit of the doubt and he goes into free agency with a fake trade that sets the Ravens back the entire offseason. He is part of the problem.
2024 Orioles first round pick Vance Honeycutt has played in three games this spring. He’s gotten one at bat in all of them. He’s hit a home run every time
The #Ravens need pass rush help and Maxx Crosby could be available through a trade this offseason.
What would you be willing to give up for him? Bob Haynie is all in on Baltimore making an aggressive move.
The NFL informed teams that the 2026 salary cap will be in the $301.2M to $305.7M range, a huge jump from 2025’s $279.2M number, per @TomPelissero
That should help the Ravens with a potential Lamar Jackson extension, bringing back Tyler Linderbaum, big swings and more
