@iKaito_1 Great to hear. Cautiously optimistic, I'm fine with cosmetic monetization but I hope they don't push the boundaries to "pay for convenience" like we see in some of these types of games.
We'll see, I'm hopeful.
@iKaito_1 Just gacha tribalists with the IQ of a goldfish. Still early but if the games good that's all that will matter in the end. As of right now it looks very promising.
@Scyrptor That’s live-service storytelling: there’ll be highs, lows, and dry stretches. The vocal minority also has the memory of a goldfish—one shiny cutscene and it’s “peak” again. Some are tired of the harem angle, but that’s largely the WuWa audience; not everyone’s here for it.
@arielhelwani Say what you want about Dana atleast he tries to make the fights everyone wants to see.
I feel bad for boxing fans, great sport ran by crooks.
@Lawd_Arbiter Smart man, plenty of other story mediums and games to enjoy in the meantime no need to chain yourself to 1 IP like other room temperature IQ tribalists.

@Rigaborn To be fair, if a story takes 10+ hours to “get into,” that’s a tough sell when there are so many other great stories and media out there competing for people’s time.
But just dropping it and saying it isn’t for you instead of making a shitpost would be the more mature response.
@AestusEstusSG Both have their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to story. WuWa is clearly more advanced technologically, while Genshin is working with an older engine.
But the real issue is that the bar for cohesive gacha storytelling is embarrassingly low compared to every other medium.
