For anyone weighing in on this one, it helps to see the actual vote and text. AB 2624 cleared the Assembly 57-19, almost entirely along party lines, and it’s now in the state Senate, so it isn’t law yet. We pulled the full bill text and every member’s vote into one place in case it’s useful.
