The £2.5bn Chelsea sale money remains frozen in a UK bank account.

Three years after it was earmarked for Ukraine war victims, the Charity Commission says it is yet to receive any application for a foundation to be created.

@sgcfc23 What has Fabregas achieved in his managerial career compared to Maresca which makes you think he’s a better alternative?

[Cameron Moody @_cameronmoody]

Could Mateta be an option for Chelsea to consider in the summer 👀 Provides competition for Jackson and offers a different threat to what the club currently have. Fits within clubs wage structure as he reportedly earns around £50,000 a week at Palace.

@matissearmani Letting go off Joao Felix in January was the nail in the coffin…

[Cameron Moody @_cameronmoody]

Cole Palmer has now created 32 chances in his last 14 games… in that time he has registered 0 assists 😳

Looks like it’s a standard back four again… Reece will play further forward with both full backs inverting still 🤔

[Chels HQ @Chels_HQ]

Enzo Maresca: "Reece comes in for Noni who of course isn't with us today because he is injured. We play with full-backs to have one outside and one coming inside. Reece can do both roles so he gives us options and today he will try to help us with our gameplan."

@Blue_Footy Hopefully we get to see Mheuka at some point today… good to see him and the other academy players on the bench.

[Cameron Moody @_cameronmoody]

@ytalksfootball Should definitely get more out of Gusto from this system in an attacking sense… can’t help but feel he’s been misused so far by Maresca as an inverted full back.

[Cameron Moody @_cameronmoody]

Looks like Maresca has changed the shape to a 5 back for Chelsea’s match against Villa! Should definitely get more from Gusto in this system at wingback.

With Noni Madueke out until after the international break as reported by @Matt_Law_DT could Chelsea hand 19 year old academy graduate Tyrique George his first PL start against Villa on Saturday? He’s made 12 appearances so far this season under Maresca.

Could Lookman be a good fit for Chelsea this summer window? He fits within the clubs low wage structure as he reportedly earns around €40,000 a week currently at Atalanta. Would bring in much needed experience at 27 years old having won the UEL last season.

🚨 Ademola Lookman’s statement after penalty miss and Gian Piero Gasperini’s strong words.

“It saddens me on a day like this to have to write this statement – most of all because of what we have achieved together as a team and as a city.

Being singled out in the manner I have been not only hurts but feels deeply disrespectful, not least because of the immense hard work and commitment I have always put in each and every day to help bring success to this club and to the incredible fans of Bergamo.

In truth, I have dealt with many difficult moments during my time here – the majority of which I have never spoken about because in my opinion the team must always be protected and must come first. This makes what happened last night even more hurtful.

Along with our incredible fans, we as a team are hurting too with last night’s result. During the match, the designated penalty taker instructed me to take the penalty; and to support the team I took responsibility in the moment to do so.

Life’s about challenges and turning pain into power which I’ll continue to do”.

Thomas Tuchel was sacked after winning the UCL (with Werner & Havertz upfront) Super Cup & CWC + losing 2 cup finals on pens & consecutive top 4 finishes. Had to deal with Lukaku’s antics, a divorce, club sanctions & a takeover. Loved the club, built a connection with fans & spoke brilliantly. He did all this in 18 MONTHS & was sacked for Graham Potter but I’m reading Pochettino revisionism. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
