You put in real work, long hours, stress, even enduring strikes at University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital when all the patients were coming to RSUTH and now instead of being paid what you earned, they’re making it feel like you have to beg for it. That’s not okay.
The casual treatment of house officers in Nigeria has to end.
Fresh out of medical school, they routinely endure the longest and most demanding shifts, shoulder responsibilities that rightfully belong to senior staff, and handle countless non-clinical errands all while earning pitiful allowances.
To make matters worse, even these modest payments are often delayed for weeks or months.
Is it really too much to demand fair salaries and timely payments for these young doctors?
The true measure of any profession lies in how it values and supports those at the very bottom of the ladder. Neglecting house officers weakens the entire healthcare system.

I genuinely canNOT believe I chose a profession that requires me to work ALL of the time.
I honestly cannot believe it.
There are ppl who work and then go home and don't think about work until the next day. I find that to be absolutely incredible.
A woman threw her baby out of a plane before it crashed. Suddenly an eagle appeared and took the baby to land safely somewhere.
The eagle was the pet of a billionaire who had no child.
That's the video I just watched. What's going on with these weird stories
1 is hold on
2 is pick two
5 is pick three
8 is suspension
14 is general market
20 is I need
If it's not like this, then I don't know what you're playing
