with the new atla show out, there’s a lot of aang vs korra debate again, and i once again say, the two are valid and powerful in their own right, their journeys cannot be compared. they were written to be opposites of each other, not pitted against each other

korra needed YEARS to be spiritually in a place where she could properly handle things as the avatar. aang did not. aang needed to be pushed to his limits to make difficult decisions beyond the spiritual, korra did not.

i’m physically incapable of taking a little 1-2 hour nap. i either nap a full night’s worth of sleep or nothing at all

one time i was at home drinking while on facetime with my cousin, i blacked out for like 30 minutes and when i came back into my body i had a freshly cooked bowl of spicy korean stir fry noodles with toppoki and enoki mushrooms. it was like instant uber, a lovely surprise
