The ideal sleep time of 7-8 hours was based on studies conducted on men. It was only recently discovered that women need 9-10 hours of sleep to produce an adequate amount of hormones for the next day, unlike men who can produce hormones while they’re awake.
If a woman is getting less than 9-10 hours of sleep her body very literally does not function. You don’t produce enough hormones, your fertility suffers, your thyroid slows, your stress hormones take over and you suffer adrenal fatigue.
You’re not lazy for being tired, you’re just not a man. Go back to bed.
you don't need a reason to exist right now. you don't need a grand purpose or anything. just be here, have a nice laugh, and be yourself. and if there's a day where you aren't able to do that, you have tomorrow and all your days after that. i love you.
stop taking your phone to the bathroom. stop using your phone when you eat. stop taking out your phone when you have a minute or two of downtime. allow yourself to be bored for a little. allow yourself to sit in nothingness.
Learn to stop apologizing for things you have no control over.
Instead of saying: "Sorry, I forgot."
Say: "Thank you, for reminding me."
Instead of saying: "Sorry, I'm late"
Say: "Thank you, for waiting."
Start experiencing gratitude. Shift your energy when it feels off.
