I hope the 2022 devotional on 'labels' can offer you some relief. We are always to remember Him and hear Him. Fear not what man can do...
Choices for Eternity

"All persons are entitled to their agency, for God has so ordained it. He has ... given them power to choose good or evil; to seek after that which is good, by pursuing the pathway of holiness in this life, which brings peace of mind, and joy in the Holy Ghost here. Since the God of heaven has left these things optional with every individual, we do not wish to deprive them of it."
Joseph Smith Jr.
How do we address this?
My heart aches for our church class teachers who are riddled with self-doubt and guilt due to perfectionism. It comes out in their teaching style. It's fairly common if you pay attention to the cues.
Julie Shiffler said in a BYU-I devotional that "any time we criticize ourselves even though we are actually doing all that we can do, we are engaging in perfectionism. This is an unhealthy practice that can lead to depression, anxiety, or other mental health problems."
President Gordon B. Hinckley said:
"I feel to invite [you] to rise to the great potential within you. I do not ask that you reach beyond your capacity. I hope you will not nag yourselves with thoughts of failure. I hope you will not try to set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. I hope that you will simply do what you can do in the best way you know how. If you do so, you will witness miracles come to pass."
That's a good thing! They have a good home, have made good choices, and fortunately haven't been bullied or harassed by peers. I personally know youth that were seriously bullied at church activities and camps. Horrible stuff too!
There are those among us with trauma hidden in the shadows. I have learned to recognize the subtle signals so I can be a source of help, depending on the situation
Faith leaders have admonished us on appropriate use of AI and warned us of the inherent risks.
Elder David A. Bednar shared this in a worldwide devotional for young adults:
"Always remember that an AI companion is only a mathematical algorithm. It does not like you. It does not care about you. It does not really know if you exist or not. To repeat, it is a set of computer equations that will treat you as an object to be acted upon, if you let it. Please, do not let this technology entice you to become an object."
Things as They Really Are 2.0

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
I got next level respect recently from my new boss. He quoted a Public Enemy song and followed it with, "you probably haven't heard of them."
I calmly responded, "I saw them live in concert when they opened for Run DMC"

Today, I signed an executive order declaring a statewide drought emergency. This activates Utah’s emergency response plan and helps state agencies coordinate drought response across the state.
All 29 counties are in severe drought, 22 counties are in extreme drought, and water supply forecasts are well below normal.
The good news is that Utah has spent years preparing for dry years by investing in reservoirs, conservation, and planning. Statewide reservoir storage is currently at 70% of capacity, but what we see in our reservoirs today is what we have.
I’m grateful to Utahns who have already cut back, to cities and water districts leading by example, and to our farmers and ranchers who are often the first to have their water supply reduced. Through the Agricultural Water Optimization Program, producers have invested more than $50 million of their own funds to improve water use and help protect Utah’s water resources and food supply.
We have enough water to get through this year if we treat every gallon like the finite resource it is. Please follow Utah’s weekly lawn watering guide, reduce outdoor water use, fix irrigation leaks, and avoid watering pavement.
The typical path is to centralize infrastructure as it's easier upfront. Decentralizing and using smaller, repeatable building blocks provide similar outcomes while de-risking the negative effects of big, centralized infrastructure. The challenge is it takes more work upfront. No one would blink an eye if there were 100 small, micro data centers in a region providing the same capacity as one giant concentrated one. The smaller scale also allows for easier pathways to recycle water. It also dilutes the negative effects
For years Testimony meeting has been a real challenge for me. I’m autistic and when things get off track or go over schedule it would cause me a great deal of anxiety and a little anger.
Then a couple of months ago it dawned on me. And pardon the phrasing, but “not my monkeys, not my circus.”
Once I accepted that I am not responsible for these things, the wait lifted and Testimony meeting is far more enjoyable.
I often tell members to take the pressure off themselves, quit trying to fix others. Peace will wash over you. Life is simpler. Why? Members, although well-intentioned, are trying to be Christ. Jesus knows His sheep and will heal them. We need to love them, weep with them, and sit with them, not try to fix them
In July, the Church will open 55 new missions to accommodate a growing number of missionaries already called. The addition will bring the total number of missions to 506 and allow missionaries to better support the growing number of congregations worldwide.
“What we are witnessing today is more than growth in numbers,” Elder Dale G. Renlund (@DaleGRenlund) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said in a May 2026 social post. “Across the world, missionaries are demonstrating a deep devotion to the Savior and a sincere consecration to His work. An increasing number express that their fundamental reason for serving is their love for Jesus Christ and their desire to join Him in His work — an inspiring reflection of the faith and commitment that characterize today’s missionary force.
“As the work goes forward, this is indeed a joyous and marvelous work and a wonder.”

People are being left behind and they don't know it. This is both something old and something new.
The first way is not increasing knowledge and experiential learning. One should never stop learning, always have a thirst for knowledge, and be able to apply it. This is not a new problem. We see it generation after generation where older folks become obsolete because they stopped learning and adapting.
The second way is using AI as a powerful tool to augment output and magnify one's capacity. It's a game changer and sifter.
