James Bond game sequels publishing will be "done by MGM and, theoretically, by Amazon Game Studios" says Jeff Gattis, GM of gaming at Amazon
"We did not [make First Light]. We do have a stake in it because we now own the IP. But that IP acquisition happened after the First Light IO deal was already done."

@KatDownie2 Highly recommend trying them out, if you wanna play Laufey you can jump into GOW 2018 and then play Ragnarok, I haven't even played the original GOW games. But I'm sure it'd be fine to just play GOW Laufey too!
Last words: reviews inherently will always have personal bias. If every review was objective, then every score would be the same. And still, people argue about if they think a game is obj. good or obj. bad. If you don't see that, then maybe you shouldn't be reading game reviews.
Game journalist here. We rate games based on how good they are and how much we enjoy them, not on how many Steam concurrent players we think there will be. Also, this doesn't account for all the other platforms Mina the Hollower is available on. What a stupid argument.
Mina the Hollower is yet another proof game urinalists have completely lost their relevance/influence
68 reviews, a whopping 93 average, the year's highest
Yet, a wet fart of <13k concurrent player peak
@NouMakara From my experience I’ve always gotten to choose which games I review, either an editor will reach out to us or we express interest in reviewing a game!
@Darkiwane_ From the reviews I’ve read/written, it’s felt like a mixed bag but definitely leaning more toward buying guides. The smaller independent sites are typically best for finding actual critiques.
10 hours in, I found the first 3 hours the most difficult. The easy modifiers helped, but the game got a lot easier after so I turned them off. There are hard modifiers too in case you’re finding it too easy after the first dungeon!
@Sarkiology You’re right, you caught me. Our editors are sitting on thrones of money from game devs and we actively avoid the good games to make our readers angry. Cant believe you found out!
@EzriMuldoon When I read a review for a game I don’t like that has a high metascore, it doesn’t bother me. Reviews are subjective, they’re meant to be guidelines to help the audience decide for themselves if that game is for them, not decide objectively if a game is good or bad.
@EzriMuldoon Not sure why you assumed I didn’t think player count metrics mattered for multiplayer games… I said the argument that high score = game must have high player count or else journos are irrelevant is dumb. Doesn’t matter for Mina, but def matters for something like Marathon
@WithoutStu72628 I’m not sure when people started reading reviews as objective when they’ve never been. Not a single game in the world is made for every gamer. I don’t gaf if I read a review from someone I respect and they don’t like a game that I love. People take reviews too seriously.
@EzriMuldoon Not sure what ur trying to say here, I’m not the one who picked Mina I’m critiquing someone else for tracking its pointless player count. I agree it’s only relevant for multiplayer games, I’m saying that it’s stupid to claim that Mina’s high score correlates to “ low”player count
@DaveAngelSC2 I’m not sure if many reviewers tackle reviews that way, but I can see how you feel. It’s just not exactly how we’re taught to tackle reviews. To each their own.
@DaveAngelSC2 I never said I didn’t know it was niche, but I never expected the wave of hatred it got online (I’ve still yet to play it). Every game nowadays has grifters seething with anger, I’m kinda used to it and expect it with any game now.
@DaveAngelSC2 I see you love E33, I do too. But I remember when many loud people on twit were angry with it winning GOTY and claimed it was a bad game. But it’s not, it’s just that even a game with over 90 score will have haters. Doesn’t mean the reviewers were wrong to rate it high.
