@ZenMaster333 In case it was not clear enough: Provide the Bible verse where it says specifically that Jesus was speaking symbolically. Please stick to your sola scriptura and don't weasel out by going on inferences and personal interpretations.
@ZenMaster333@chris63127 Find me the word Trinity or Incarnation while you're at it.. Protestantism is so utterly weak it keeps multiplying because it can't even agree amongst itself, ultimately it is soooooooo historically lame
@TJMoe28 I think you're on to something, I have been wrestling with this notion too. Look into the Aristotelian idea of 'actualisation' from 'potentiality' and his idea of movement. I believe St. Thomas Aquinas captures some of this in his thought. Extremely interesting !
@Nero We are family through Him who made us his sons by his death and resurrection. We have a family of witnesses interceding for us in heaven. This world is passing and is but a foggy mirror as St. Paul said. Courage, keep fighting the good fight
I pray Pope Leo will become this clear in all things Catholic…
Pope Leo XIV: "The answer is perfectly clear, and resounds in the History of 2,000 years: only Jesus comes to save us, no one else: because only he has the power to do so — He is God Almighty in person — and because he loves us. Saint Peter said it emphatically: 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12). Never forget these words, dear friends: imprint them on your heart, and place Jesus at the centre of your lives." (Aug. 25, 2025)
