The Beatitudes become for us a measure of happiness, leading us to ask whether we consider it an achievement to be bought or a gift to be shared; whether we place it in objects that are consumed or in relationships that accompany us. #GospelOfToday (Mt 5:1-12)
The most powerful manifestation tool is gratitude. Be thankful for what you have right now, and the Universe will respond by giving you more to be grateful for.
I cannot believe we as Gambia are ending 2025 with grown men debating women’s clitorises. Grown men with families too, don’t they have better things to do?
Of all the sunnahs, the one about cutting our vaginas is what you want to die for?
This evening, we will sing the Te Deum in thanksgiving for the many gifts we have received from God throughout the year. We are also invited to reflect on how we, in turn, have responded, and to ask for God’s mercy, like the many pilgrims who have passed through the Holy Door in search of forgiveness.
We live as if life were never enough. We rush to produce, to prove ourselves, to keep up. But the Gospel teaches us that knowing how to stop is an act of trust that we must learn to perform. Life does not always depend on what we do, but also in knowing how to let go of what we have been able to do. #GeneralAudience
