we’re always told there’s no money for libraries, for healthcare, for universities, for high speed rail, for sewer upgrades, and yet there’s always infinite money for war
Don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself for being gaslit into thinking losing 1-0 at Old Trafford to an Everton side that played 80 minutes with 10 men was ‘part of a process’ of suffering that all Manchester United supporters just had to endure. Diabolical.
Some people can’t seem to grasp that you can be frustrated with the ownership and still think Amorim didn’t do enough in his 14+ months to justify investing millions in him. There are multiple conversations to be had and not everything has to be talked about in extremes.
Man Utd fans are proper brainless clowns.
Rode the Ole hate train, never appreciated what you had, wanted it all overnight, and now you’re creaming over this Amorim circus while crawling back to the Top 4 in slowmotion. Club's finished, standards buried, you lot are lost.
Enjoy.
The infuriating part about that performance is, it had nothing to do with Utd’s absentees and everything to do with Amorim’s mentality, I honestly think Utd would’ve played that way with their strongest 11.
It’s not really about today. It’s the fact that you can imagine a similarly weird performance in this home game even if Amorim had more senior players available to him.
ETH was sacked for less.
Jose was sacked for less.
van Gaal was sacked for less.
Solskjær was sacked for less.
But I’m supposed to sit here and get behind a manager who not only goes against every principle this club was built on but one who has 12 league wins in 12 months.
Forget the result for a second, look at that ‘performance’. Nobody with clear vision/half a brain can tell me we’re improving under this manager. No chance.
There are Ruben Amorim fans now attacking people questioning the manager after one of the worst performances of the past decade. The only thing that should matter is what is in the best interests of the club, but they support a manager ahead of supporting Manchester United.
