Some men just want to watch the world burn

[C @_che88]

@REcfc88 @nathangreennn @K_h__1888 there is no other logical for reason for him still to be starting every game in october 2026

[C @_che88]

@Hoidy take ur pick

[C @_che88]

@daerBemaG @1888Seamus thank you desmond for the great work you have done for the club over the years.

love from isreal❤️

[C @_che88]

another manager was sacked after 33 days for a similar run🤷🏻‍♂️

[C @_che88]

@Dizzyguy101 @_cfc_67 @TimMalloyHH nah i understand your point

i think o’neill getting sacked would also probably be harsh considering what hes done in the past, but you can see exactly where this is headed

[C @_che88]

@Dizzyguy101 @_cfc_67 @TimMalloyHH i genuinely think nancy’s football COULDVE worked, but absolutely nothing fell into place for him to succeed.

no transfer window, no pre season, players clearly unwilling to adapt.

but the facts are he lost almost every game in charge and was rightfully sacked

[C @_che88]

@1888Seamus i enjoy going to the games and supporting the team.

i dont enjoy the manager embarrassing the club on and off the park every week while we get outplayed by every team we face.

the board spat in martin o’neill’s face all summer and he thanked them for it ffs

[C @_che88]

@Dizzyguy101 @_cfc_67 @TimMalloyHH as negative as i probably seem, i’d take a season of no league title if it meant we got an ange like manager in the door again, similar to what happened in 2021, but i wouldnt trust the board to fall into that success by chance again.

[C @_che88]

@Dizzyguy101 @_cfc_67 @TimMalloyHH i dont think its specifically europe thats the issue.

we look terrible in every game regardless of who we play (hearts the outlier)

we dont have a style of play, the team is selection is baffling and the comments in the media are getting beyond baffling now.

[C @_che88]

@1888Seamus yep never a celtic fan.

just spend all sorts of money following them everywhere for the sake of it👍🏻

[C @_che88]

@NotoriousBAG_ i dont disagree, but how far can previous success take you.

at celtic, pretty far evidently

[C @_che88]

@ToscanoTIM1701 @MuiryyCeltic it doesn’t take away from what they have achieved, you can separate the good times from the bad.

the good times under lennon were never going to return and they dont look likely whatsoever to come back under o’neill

[C @_che88]

@ToscanoTIM1701 @MuiryyCeltic his legacy can easily be in question if he continues to embarrass himself and the club constantly in both the media and on the park.

sometimes its best to call it a day while you’re on a high (winning a double last season) than pretending you’re the right man for the job

[C @_che88]

@Decbhoy1888 knocked out the cup embarrassingly off rangers
skelped off ferencvaros at home
didnt stand a chance at home to rangers
battered off benfica
played off the park against celts vigo at home.

at least nancys football was somewhat entertaining

[C @_che88]

@ToscanoTIM1701 @MuiryyCeltic explain how anyone is a “wee guy” for rightly criticising the manager.

if your reason is because they didnt watch him during his first spell then your point is invalid as neither did you 👍🏻

[C @_che88]

@ToscanoTIM1701 @MuiryyCeltic you never even experienced o’neill the first time why are you so obsessed with him😂😂😂

[C @_che88]

@C_67_ @bruce_30mm @jamessmith2012 its fairly simple tactics bud

[Ewan @ewancorky]

Is Callum McGregor finished today aye? Made everything tick played forward as players that haven’t been showing showed for him today. He’s been lead a merry dance at times but the Celtic fans going after him need to take a long hard look at themselves!

[C @_che88]

@bruce_30mm @jamessmith2012 mcgregor isnt the “ball side cm” hes the 6. if you want to go down that route nygren should be there instead and mcgregor should still be defending the edge of the box.

look at the amount of shots from that area we concede because mcgregor never does his job

[C @_che88]

@jamessmith2012 @bruce_30mm i have obviously played football, but thats not even relevant.

baur COULD be closer, but mcgregor SHOULD be closer, or at least cut off the pass.

mcgregor isnt even doing anything, hes just standing still, he should be covering the pass. he doesnt even check his shoulder.
