@MattMuir72 @anobrit He shouldn't be "forced" to give up anything. I get thats his life long nickname. I think that he is using "Beto" to appeal to the Hispanic vote. If he wants to do that its fine, its working. I just don't agree with it. In my opinion nothing "just happens to be" in politics.

I actually met Robert early in his campaign. He did talk about his nickname and his background. He can call himself whatever he wants. But, politically using a Hispanic nickname when you're not Hispanic is in my opinion offensive. I support his party, not sure about him.

@anobrit Yeah, i don't have a problem with that being his nickname. What bothers me is that like you said, using a Hispanic nickname in Texas is better marketing, and I don't like that he is using that. It is not just a random name it is a political strategy.
