hello twitter, i'm paa3k (patrick) an indie music artist living in anambra, and self releasing my own songs and you're currently listening to "white" from my ep.
Hope yall doing tribalism and bigotry can see that at the end of the day it’s still the Nigerian flag that’s on display.
The sooner our generation defeats the seeds of division that’s been sown amongst us, the sooner we can have a better country for ALL OF US 👏🏾⚡️
Grand Corruption: Nigeria’s Greatest Threat.
The recent report from the IMF consultation further raises concerns about the scale of grand corruption under the Tinubu government. The IMF now reveals that about N8.83 trillion in expenditure undertaken in 2025 is not reflected in the budget. This expenditure is not budgeted and is therefore not under legislative oversight or administrative scrutiny. This is horrible.
N8.83 trillion is as follows:
1.About 2% of our GDP.
2.Over 35% of Nigeria’s 2025 N23.96 trillion capital project budget. In fact, the amount is more than the actual released capital funding for 2025.
https://t.co/Hta3LViCB8 is more than the entire combined budget for education (N3.52 trillion) and health (N2.38 trillion).
If such an amount is properly used and accounted for, it could transform Nigeria’s public health and education sectors. It could create hundreds of cottage industries that can provide jobs for thousands of graduates and build a solid foundation for economic development. But we cannot account for it. This is not an isolated incident.
This is a pattern of grand corruption that has become part of this administration.
We have a lot to worry about regarding the state of corruption under President Tinubu. The sort of corruption that is ingrained in total disregard of elementary rules of public finance management poses a grave danger to national security and the stability of the Nigerian state. The capture of the Nigerian state and the plunder of its resources are actions that undermine the basis of state stability and deepen poverty and state failure.
This recent revelation proves that the APC government is grossly corrupt, incompetent, and insensitive. With the growing poverty and the urgent need for significant upgrades to social and physical infrastructure, a responsible and responsive government would ensure that N8.83 trillion is prudently utilised to address these gaps. But not the Tinubu administration.
A few days ago, I called on President Tinubu to resign from office for incompetence, lack of capacity, lack of compassion, and failure to improve on his campaign promises. Some people thought perhaps the call was excessive. But with the daily revelations of pervasive corruption in this administration and its total lack of commitment to the welfare and security of Nigerian citizens, the only reasonable action is for President Tinubu to resign from office. The collapse of elementary forms of due process under Tinubu and the increased evidence of rampant looting of Nigerian public finances reinforce the need for greater accountability. It is now time for Nigerian citizens to rise within the law and hold this administration to account.

Help Make My Scholarship Dream Come True 🙏
I'm Adisa Blessing Oluwafikayo, a First-Class Mathematics graduate (CGPA: 4.76/5.0) from UNILORIN.
I'm happy to have been awarded a fully funded Master's scholarship in Mathematics at the University of Calabria, Italy.
I learnt beadmaking during my NYSC days in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
So when I got back home after my service year, I started making bead bags, flower pots and matted bags for sale alongside applying for jobs.
For context, at the time, I was already a chartered accountant with a first-class degree in accounting.
My mum would tell her friends and colleagues about my little business, and they would place orders, and I would stay up all night making those pieces for them.
Then one day, something happened.
My mum got back from work, and she said, ‘Ore, one of my friends placed an order for a bead purse; please help me make it for her’
My dad, who was also there, got instantly furious, and he said: ‘This is not my vision for her life, stop bringing her these orders, I want her to focus on getting good job opportunities’.
That was a reset moment for my mum and me. We just quietly dispersed, and it was the last order my mum ever brought me 🤣
I then refocused my time and energy on the aptitude tests I kept failing, began passing them, and landed a bank role and later a PwC role to kick-start my career.
"I appeal to every eligible Nigerian who has not yet registered for a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to do so.
I understand that some people chose not to register after what happened in 2023, and I know many have their reasons. But we must not give up on our country. Every vote determines the future of Nigeria. Let us rise above disappointment, register, collect our PVCs, and participate in building the Nigeria we all desire."
— NDC presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi
Check it out for yourself on Google Maps. If the right thing is not done we will keep experiencing the same thing every year.
For those of you who keep saying the drainage is blocked because of trash, I hope you learn now. Those sand-filled blockages are everywhere.
That’s a major reason why there are floods on this side of the peninsula. 🆘🆘🆘 @hctokunbowahab @drobafemihamzat@lagosstategovt
These are the plans they have for Nigerians
To subject Nigerians to poverty so Nigerians grovel for pittance to start “akara enterprise”
Funds stolen from Nigeria being spoken of as though they were an act of benevolent philanthropy
Stella Okoli, the founder of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, how Obasanjo always engaged all the manufacturers in Nigeria.
During Obasanjo 's regime, all manufacturers in Nigeria used to have a meeting with the president in Aso Rock every Saturday.
The meeting was to discuss about manufacturers' challenges and how to drive the economy forward.
It was during that time he assisted Otedola,Tony Elumelu and Dangote.
That meeting quietly fizzled out and none is being held today.
Margaret Obi told us she visited 177 communities in Anambra state to help the women fight infant mortality.
Remi Tinubu said Nigerians should fry akara.
Know your enemies!!!
I really try my best to hold it inside me every single time I hear this woman speak.
I pray I don't have to express how I feel about this woman publicly.
Anambra's present airport has a total of 4 flights a day. 2 inbound and 2 outbound. AirPeace and United Nigeria
As a result of the the very limited passenger traffic about 200 outbound passengers, most stores are empty as there is no economic activity.
What does the governor do to improve passenger traffic?
Work with the ministry of tourism to promote activities to drive traffic to the state? Nope.
Improve roads and create a public transport corridor that will make it convenient for people in other pared of the state and region opt to use the airport for flying in and out of Anambra?
Nope.
Work with the traders of Onitsha and Nnewi and coordinate with the FG to activate a dry port that will see cargo get flown in directly to the state bypassing the inefficiencies of going via Lagos while activating new income source?
Nope.
The brightest idea Prof. C C Olodo has is to spend many billions to construct another one of his shitty projects so he can name the nonsense Solution Airport and it have another one or 2 flights pass through it.
That embarrassment is exhibit number 1 whenever the proponent of "school na scam" mount the debate stage.
What a disgrace!
Long post incoming, but I'm desperate at this point and need the internet's help. (For the TLDR, check the replies for links and action items)
So my little sister Chizo has been fighting leukemia for the past 2.5 years. She's been in remission twice, once after a bone marrow transplant from our brother and then again after a CAR-T treatment after another relapse last year. She is now in her third bout of the fight, as the leukemia has returned yet again in December of last year.
She's spent the majority of this year in the hospital and they tried an alternative CAR-T treatment, which did not work this time. Afterwards, the doctors gave her two options: manage her pain and spend time with her family and loved ones until it's time to pass on, or to take a In order to address this third bout, they tried an alternative CAR-T treatment that did not work this time. The doctors gave her two options:
1) Manage her pain and spend the rest of her time here with her family and loved ones
2) Take a life-threatening chemotherapy treatment that can lead to heart/liver failure based on the intensity of it to bridge her to her next treatment, whether it's another CAR-T treatment or a bone marrow transplant if they find a donor.
She's a fighter, so she chose the chemotherapy treatment and is still fighting to this day. So I'm here to ask for y'alls help as she continues this fight.
