🚨💣 MAJOR BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo has decided NOT to retire from international football.
Cristiano Ronaldo remains AVAILABLE for Portugal from November international break.
More follows. 🇵🇹
Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug.
You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form.
You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages.
You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution.
You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis.
You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from.
Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.
JUST IN: 🇬🇭🇨🇳 Ghana launches cedi-to-yuan payment system for imports from China, reducing reliance the US dollar.
• Stanbic Bank Ghana is piloting the cedi-to-yuan payment system, with Ghana Commercial Bank developing a similar service.
• Payments are processed through China's Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS), enabling direct yuan payments from cedi accounts.
• This system reduces the need for US correspondent banks, cutting costs and processing times for China-related transactions.
North Korea has nukes and ICBMs that can hit the entire U.S. Iran has neither.
If nukes were the point, you'd be bombing North Korea. You're bombing Iran because Israel told you to.
@marcus_herve I love the fact that Chinese officials speaking Chinese and let their interpreters translate for them, even though they probably understand and speak English.
At this point, a part of me wants PBAT to win, so he can kill us all more since we never learn enuf.
I no even get energy to tell anyone to "vote wisely", in fact, I think he'd win regardless of votes bcos he knows we won't do anything.
P.S: I hope I am wrong, but I am not holding my breath.
@R_eq_uin That's the issue with democracy, a sweet talker or one with more funds can just come and win an election. Democracy can't grow a developing nation, it'd rather keep them in a circle.
Oh well, if people ignore signs, they'd see wonders.
Facts!! Everyone has their bias when it comes to their tribe (and even religion).
But you have to recognise the bias, look past it when something critical is said of ur tribe and see if there is truth in the criticism, and how can we correct it.
Bcos at the end of the day, all of us dey suffer for the who country, regardless of tribe.
If France is shaking after 3 of its Francophone colonies broke away, imagine the absolute chaos that’s going to ensue when the other 11 make their escape.
💯
Nigeria is like small kids, you don't listen to kids bcos they don't know what is good for them most times. If you let them make decisions, they'd burn the house.
We need a benevolent leader/strongman who like a father won't listen to the naughty kids, and drag us all crying and screaming ahead.
Will you shut your dirty mouth

But you that evil and vile nation called America that has 100 years plan on how to destabilize nations and keep them in ruin. Don’t ever compare China or Russia to them.
The Chinese have created more opportunities for Africans than America ever has.

Ibrahim Traoré is asking the question Africa should have asked long ago:
Who creates the rules of the international order, who enforces them, and against whom?
Iraq was invaded on false claims. Libya was destroyed under the language of “protecting civilians.” Yet African leaders have repeatedly found themselves in the dock while the architects of Western wars rarely do.
This is the deeper problem with the so called rules based international order: power writes the rules, power interprets the rules, and too often power decides who will be punished by them.
Africa needs justice. But justice cannot be another institution of domination.
