One quarter into the NBA Finals, Jalen Brunson is affirming the concerns people have about small guards being able to win it all.
The closer you get. The more physical it gets. So far, Brunson’s body is betraying him.
He’s a Sophomore in his 1st postseason run. He took responsibility for his flaws postgame. Huge ask for him to adjust to being the primary ball handler against the NBA’s best defense on the road in that environment.
Stephon Castle's 20 turnovers through 2 playoff games is an NBA record 😬
"You'd be roasting James Harden... he's unbelievable, but he has to take care of the ball." @ChandlerParsons
"Even at shooting guard... just gotta be better." @TeamLou23@MichelleDBeadle | @boogiecousins
Who wins tonight will depend on what type of Chet we get tonight. I expect Chet to have a better game today on both ends of the floor and OKC bench to outscore the Spurs’s bench.
Series should be even at 1-1 heading into San Antonio.
Incredible game tonight. Wemby was sensational but how about Harper man?! 7 steals, 1TO, shot 100% from the line. Massive night from the rookie who stepped up massively in Fox’s absence!
@_KoBena Yes . And Shai has been below average entire series. We all knew odds were heavily stacked against them and weren’t surprised, but those 2 have been very underwhelming. If they need even a win they’ve got to play at a much higher level.
@_KoBena Ayton and Reaves, need to step up more. After yesterday, a 41yo Bron is leading both teams in points and assists. If the lakers need any shot to win this series, he’ll need more from those 2 especially
• Cried this season for not having “Player of the month” Over Shai & Brunson
• Dissed Tatum by posting Celtics success & high offensive rating on Ig
• Blew a 3-1 lead then goes out crying to the league like he been doing all season
Is Jaylen Brown the Biggest Narcissist & Crybaby in the NBA?
Great regular season game. One of the best superstar matchups with high playoff intensity I’ve watched in a while. Spurs need games like this to be title contenders.
@_KoBena@ShamsCharania It appears he collided with another player which caused a blunt force injuring the lung(contusion). When this happens there’s a chance of pressure which keeps the sacs open(like a balloon) to fall, causing a collapse
Thinking of all the great scorers the game has seen and no one sniffed even 100 games…. Shaq, MJ, Kobe, KD, LeBron. Very impressive record by SGA who can pull this even further away from Wilt now.
