Guy to gal on the street: (shouting) don’t f**king walk away from me (x3) I’m still talking to ya
Me to myself: (in my kitchen cutting up a kiwi) Hm. Heheh. Aunty run o. Except you people are acting feem
In a meeting and someone said ‘we’re adding a new supplier, not sure but I think they’re called Rebel energy….’ Someone interjected and said it’s actually Rogue energy. Takes only a second for everyone to laugh out loud. I don’t even know whether it’s Rogue or Rebel 😄
I finally watched Pressure Cooker on Netflix. Mike should have won sha but I guess this might be a reminder that how we connect with people might be the deal breaker/maker.
I never realised the obsession women from other African countries have with Nigerian women till I relocated abroad.
I chatted with this Senegalese girl I met on a train a-bit and she was like “Oh I thought Nigerian women were this and that” which is funny to me cuz I’ve never thought of Senegalese women at all.
Mind you, this is just one example of the countless times I’ve heard them mention us unprovoked.
During NYSC, Police came to arrest my landlord in PH, he wasn’t home so they took one tenant from each house. It was only my second night in PH 🥲
I lived alone so they automatically detained me.
Everyone still had to pay for bail next day.
Worse night of my life.
I’d rather work in a care home than get a PSW. At least I get to work and save up, and after 5 years I get my ILR then switch to the kind of job I want.
But if you do a PSW, it doesn’t count as part of the years you’ve stayed in the UK.
Either way, each route has its advantages, I’d imagine so.
Apart from the funny as hell, absolutely deserved (at least from what the video shows 😂) adult ass-whooping, what’s stuck in my head from this video is the ‘there nu’n you can do’ the man kept saying. Meaningggg?? 🙄
