Raigal Ahmad was jailed for 14 months at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday after he had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault

The court heard that Ahmad, of Gerald Road, Salford, had sexually assaulted two women in two separate incidents in July 2024 and January 2025 whilst on nights out in Warrington town centre.

A jury was told 35yr old Razvan Mut stabbed, kicked and hit Stephen Watts with a chair leg in Whitehall Road, Handsworth, early on April 11, 2024.

The victim, in his 60s and known to locals as 'Frank', needed a life-saving cardiac massage and spent time in a coma but survived.

Following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court a jury decided Mut, 35, of no fixed address, did not try to kill Mr Watts.
