@ianjq@rebeccasugar So sorry to hear the news but what a wonderful long life he had! How fortunate (for all involved) that he was able to find you two! 🧡
@TaleTheSnail Always, it’s just that now I get to write for a paid thing at the same time. (If you're asking about the paid thing, mum's the word on that for now.)
Today was my first official day on my first writing job! 🎉✨
(I originally wanted to use twitter as a sort of milestone tracker for my writing (like with the tweet quoted here from 3 years ago) so I figured I should go ahead and tweet today’s milestone!)
@TaleTheSnail I’m currently writing for children’s animation but I’ve also written a wide variety of (in theory, live-action) feature scripts, pilot scripts, tv spec scripts, and shorts on my journey to improve my writing.
I wrote my spec for What We Do in the Shadows back in 2020 (right after the season 2 finale) so it very much doesn’t fit into canon anymore, but I still like it. 🦇
One year’s worth of finished writing - the small book is the Halloween short story I wrote throughout last October and the scripts are three features, two original pilots, and one tv spec that I wrote over this past year. (I guess I’m using twitter to track writing milestones.)
