First of all, I'm not a teenager, just a very young adult. Second of all, I think the openness and interest in new ideas that comes with young people is a good thing, not a bad thing. That's why there's such a big generational divide -- the older generations lack this.

Never get discouraged, it is pointless and doesn't help anything. Getting angry and discouraged at the current state of affairs is understandable but leads to nothing. Things will get better, one way or another. Until then, just be patient. As hard as it is.
