@Vladicoff_NSFW @adyanalistens @cometcalls @zach_yadegari if you’re reading anything typed on a phone then you’ll likely see hyphens used that way bc it’s the default on the keyboard (you have to long press to get the others) so it’s easier and realistically everyone intuits how you’re using it anyway but you wouldn’t use it formally

em dash is the one that can be used for interjections in place of commas and brackets (though I think em dash is more of a US style thing, en dash is more commonly used in UK English)
