I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: https://t.co/QRqMK9CpTR is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents.
I didn't write a single line of code.
Incredible stuff from my good friends at @GoogleMagenta - we’re leaving the era of “push button get song” and entering the era of “push button get instrument”
Introducing Magenta RealTime 2 (MRT2): the live music model you can play as an instrument.
MRT2 offers MIDI and prompt controls, and runs natively on a MacBook with <200ms latency.
Open weights. Open source inference engine. Suite of apps and plugins.
Hear what it can do and try it out for yourself below 🧵
I'm so proud of the team for this work. Live, Local, Open, MRT2 is just a lot of fun, and is an AI Instrument puts the person back at the center of making music.
@e_harrod No, because verification will just move higher up the ladder - from "does this code work?" to "does this work for real people in the real world?" - people will always want to understand what they're building and why, and whether or not it's working
Introducing Gemini Omni 🔮........ Omni is our new model that can create anything from any input — starting with video (think Nano Banana but for video). Available in the Gemini App, Flow, and YouTube, with API support coming soon!
