Before the pandemic I would have such jam packed days, worked 39 hours a week, would constantly have things on after work/on weekends yet I would still feel so energetic. These days, I have so much free time but literally feel like I need a nap after making a slice of toast. Wtf
In the last couple of days we’ve had a man bludgeoned to death in Blanchardstown, a shooting in Ballymun, gang warfare at a graveyard where several people were stabbed & now a man in his 20s stabbed to death on one of the most affluent streets in Dublin in Grafton Street, Our city is gone to the absolute dogs & then you’ve this tramp of a politician telling the people that the city is safe to walk around etc etc & here she is taking a 10min walk around it with a police escort. Our city streets are as dangerous as any in Europe right now, I work on the streets of Dublin at unsociable hours & I see the carnage that’s going on, it’s horrific, something needs to change & to change quick before parts of the city become no go zones.
I am fully convinced that 2019 was the last normal year we ever had. Ever since then, it feels like everything’s broken. Everyone is constantly anxious, time moves too fast, and nothing actually feels real anymore. The world as we knew it is just gone
It’s the elephant in the room that you can’t even discuss because people will die on the hill that they need their truck to drop their secondary school kids off around the corner every single morning.
absolutely heartbreaking to report but you really do have to get straight to whatever chore you have planned once you get home from work... bc once u lay down and play on that phone that is when the devil finds you
The most tiring thing about adulting to me is how CONSTANT it is. There is ALWAYS some shit to sort out. you're chilling means you're probably just ignoring the million things on your to-do list.
What the fuck is up with people in this country having absolutely NO spatial awareness in supermarkets? Why is your trolley sideways blocking the aisle? Why are you standing near the entrance looking around as if it’s your first time on earth? MOVEEEEEE
This time between December 15 and January 2 is such a drag because why are we even working? We should collectively shut down the world for 3 weeks to read books with tea or wine next to a fireplace.
“He tried his best to cancel me, instead he forced millions of people to watch the show. That backfired bigly. He might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now.”
