@brodinsons as i become increasingly detached from the world of fandom at large you remain the lone telegraph signal beaming back to me from the void with reports of horrors i simply cannot comprehend
@humblewoof going insane because i literally just watched this movie three days ago and had the exact same experience uGH yes i hate it even more than the first one because it iS JUST THE SAME MOVIE AGAIN
I really like this bit because sometimes Spock is like 'if anyone knows how weird I am I will cry myself to sleep' and other times he's like 'I absolutely need to be as strange and offputting as possible to this stranger' which is just so extremely queer of him
@humblewoof i’ve been feeling pretty blue and uninspired lately and i hadn’t watched it in A While………… thought it would be a nice nostalgic treat and didn’t even dare to hope for any real magic…….. how could i have ever doubted the power of this film
@humblewoof gOD I WISH THAT WERE ME
in all seriousness the timing on this is really quite astonishing and uncanny when i myself only just had a rewatch two days ago and have been completely consumed by the fever ever since……………….
obviously buckaroos have a LONG way to go with autistic representation but i think i will always be drawn to the rare takes where an autistic character is also POWERFUL and also capable of being sexual and attractive and heroic. it is SO rare. part of why i liked mr robot too
just read they are making THE ACCOUNTANT 2 and i dont know if this is bad take but as autistic buckaroo i have to say: i hecking LOVE the accountant. yes it is movie about hitman using power of autism to basically be superhero yes there are issue with this but DANG IT i loved it
