Ravindra Jadeja has played 89 Tests.
9 Tests remain for India in this #WTC cycle considering their low chances of getting into the finals.
905 runs away from 5k Test Runs &
52 wkts away from 400 Test wickets.
He would have to play atleast 2 more tests in the next cycle.

Exactly half of the chase done by India at the 30 over mark.
A popular saying in the past for ODIs that double your 30 over score if you've lost <=2 wkts.
India at 194/1 is still in the game.
270 should be the target at 40 overs?

Rohit, Gill, Kohli, KLR, Kuldeep & Bumrah - all 6 will be there in #ODI series.
Fair to say, completely different team there. Should be a much better contest.

Genuinely donโt know what screen to have my eyes on:
Ben Stokes opening and playing his last even international innings
Indian men trying to get a drawn series against Ireland
India women possibly exiting the world cup.
What a day to be a cricket fan

That's why I'm intrigued by DC. They need clarity in their players, I would guess.
1. Who opens with KLR?
2. Where does RP & Stubbs bat?
3. Kuldeep's Replacement.
4. Release Mukesh & Nattu?
More than 8 months to go for #IPL2027 to begin, yet I'm quite intrigued by how #DelhiCapitals would go on next season.
They already had a plethora of top order batters and have now added #RP17 to the mix.
Surely a few releases are coming.
Who'll lead? KLR or Axar?
Looks like the end of Jadeja, the ODI player as of now, at least.
He still has tests left in him and will surely be picked for the #SL Test series.
But for ODIs, Axar and Washi are selector's picks for next year.
There are 3 changes from the #AFG series :
Kohli for Jaiswal
Axar for Dubey
Bumrah for Prince
Jaiswal getting dropped is a clear indication of the pecking order.
Ishan is the backup batter/wk/opener rn.

5 years ago in the same country, another India opener made 43 off 24 balls in a run chase of 263, but got out in the 6th over in a 50-over game.
He was given the Player of the Match award.
Let's see from DC's POV:
Kuldeep is not in great form, but is it really worth getting back Pant for 27 cr even if the gmr mngment is crazy for him?
Don't think Pant will lead.
KKR were very interested in Rishabh Pant. But LSG wanted Varun/Sunil for Pant. That's where the talks broke down. Rishabh is Kuldeep Yadav + 15 crore to DC.
Can't get the logic of Ishan keeping(if he's doing that this series) when KLR is the sure-shot wk+no.5 in ODIs.
He hasn't done anything wrong and is a walk-in in the 50-overs team.
